Young Life of Ouray County
Young Life is breathing love and the word of God into the lives of the youth of Ouray County. Young Life leaders, many of them members of Ouray Christian Fellowship, log many hours with kids — where they are, as they are. We listen to their stories and learn what’s important to them because we genuinely care about their joys, triumphs, heartaches and setbacks. We believe in the power of presence. Kids’ lives are dramatically impacted when caring adults come alongside them, sharing God’s love with them. Because their Young Life leader believes in them, they begin to see that their lives have great worth, meaning and purpose. This is the first step of a lifelong journey; the choices they make today, based upon God’s love for them, will impact future decisions … careers chosen, marriages formed, and families raised. All these important life decisions can be impacted by the time a Young Life leader took to reach out and enter their world. www.younglife.org
Dan & Ginny Bryant
Dan and Ginny work with the Landuma native people in Guinea in and around the nearly 300 villages in that country. The main religion there is Muslim and the languages are French and local dialects. The Christians there often face persecution from within their own families as well as their village. Dan and Ginny are raising their family of four children in Guinea. www.ethnos360.org
John & Deanna Hayes
InnerCHANGE has been started in many parts of the world and the teams are working and living with the poorest of the poor. John and Deanna live in Spain. They come alongside folks and befriend them and share Jesus as they live as neighbors. John and Deanna head up InnerCHANGE and meet and train those that are on their team around the world. www.innerchange.org
